After growing up on the mainland, Quentin and Melissa Koop moved to Parksville from Langley, BC. They fell in love with Vancouver Island and it's felt like home ever since.

It was long-time friend Kevin Elliott of Set in Stone in Calgary, AB (www.set-in-stone.ca) that first introduced Quentin to the art of rock engraving.  With all of the beautiful natural rock available here on Vancouver Island, he thought it would be a wonderful idea to bring this service to the island...
