It's made from hand-cut 3/8” thick genuine, quarried black slate.  Each one is custom designed just for you and the approximately 4.5" high numbers are engraved meticulously by hand.  We highlight each engraving with a professional grade paint, formulated specifically for outdoor rock applications.  This paint is formulated to last 20+ years without fading, even under extreme weather conditions!

As a result, our products require no upkeep. You do not need to apply any kind of sealer to them...ever.  Just give your piece a wipe now and again when it’s dusty.

The paint we use is specifically formulated for natural stone applications. It’s made to withstand the extreme outdoor elements without fading, cracking or peeling. 
 
The slate we use is of the highest grade (yes, there are different grades of slate).  Good quality slate is one of the longest lasting building materials with unrivalled performance in all types of climates. It is waterproof, fire retardant and freezing/thawing resistant.
 
It really does pay to invest in quality.  Our products are made to last for the long term.
